Ramcharitmanas consists of 7 Kaandas, each Kaanda enlightening on a particular phase of his life. Ramayan tells the story of Prince Rama, from the city of Ayodhya and kingdom of Kosala, whose wife Sita is abducted by Ravana, the demon king of Lanka. This was published by Gita Press Gorakhpur, the world’s largest publisher of Hindu religious texts. It was first established in 1923 to promote Hinduism through its 2000+ books across 15 languages.
